Blue Sun Founder Russ Gilbert is a second-generation radio professional.  Russ grew up in the radio business was one of the radio industry’s first digital employees in 1998.  Even then he recognized the importance of the Internet and digital to radio’s future. He built and oversaw the architecture for Clear Channel’s online presence at the radio company’s peak ownership period (1212 radio stations plus the venues and email marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment, now Live Nation). In the second half of the last decade, Russ was Vice President of Digital Innovation for Tribune Interactive before founding Blue Sun Media.
