As EVP and CFO, Claudia brings over 25 years of media finance industry expertise and management to BMT. She possesses an exceptional financial and operating perspective which she acquired from years of working in every aspect of both the banking and broadcast industries. From being a banker making media loans, to serving as CFO for broadcast companies, to consulting and working with media lenders, investors and station owners in all financial and operating areas, Claudia has done it all and understands every angle of the media finance business.

Prior to joining BMT, Claudia was a Managing Director of StoneGate Capital Group, an investment and merchant bank with a long history in the broadcast industry. There, she was involved in the firm’s financing, restructuring, acquisition and startup company development activities, and acted as CFO for many of their client companies. In addition, Claudia was part of the group (that included BMT CEO Jay Meyers) that created Cavalry Media Services, which, at the time, was the broadcast industry’s leading advisory firm, and is the predecessor to BMTllc. Prior to joining StoneGate, she founded Prime Capital Associates which provided financial advisory services to underdeveloped and distressed radio companies. Before founding Prime Capital, Claudia served as the CFO of Multi Market Communications where she was responsible for financial, acquisition and strategic planning activities while being actively involved in all day-to-day radio station operations.

She has worked with station owners, media lenders and investors to restructure financing and investment arrangements and also has served as the outsourced CFO for many of the client companies. Among the companies past and present who have used Claudia in this capacity are Buckley Broadcasting, Sabre Communications, Inc. and Community Radio, LLC.

Claudia began her broadcast finance career with Barclays American Business Credit (formerly Aetna Business Credit), then the premier financial institution in the Nation serving the radio, television, cable, outdoor media and publishing industries. During her tenure there, she held positions which encompassed Loan Administration, Loan Servicing, Credit Underwriting, Industry Analysis, Marketing, New Business Development, Training and Supervision of the Loan Administration and Credit Underwriting Staffs, and Management and Oversight. She continued her media finance career with the Communications Group of Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank, then an active broadcasting company lender, where she maintained overall responsibility for building and developing the Communication Group’s Radio Finance Department. Over the course of two years, she established the bank as a major source of senior debt financing for small market entrepreneurial radio companies.
